  PJPII is an awesome school with such a strong sense of community and family values. During this time of transition there needs to be safeguards against micromanaging and the elimination of programs such as school carnivals, Beef 'N Beers, family movie nights, PARENT governed PTO and field trips. These cuts have recently occurred at another relatively, local small, parochial school with which PJPII administration has been affiliated. Smaller events were also removed such as door decorating contests, heritage day, lego contests, and FAIR, student council elections. Student solos at the Christmas Mass and the May Procession were also replaced by administrators needing to be in the spotlight. PJP is such a amazing and wonderful school but needs to be cautious, vocal and interactive to remain a great school.

  The Brandywine YMCA is a great place for all members of our community. Promoting healthy living and youth development, the Brandywine Y offers great programs and great facilities. Our community teen's have civic engagement opportunities, while our preschoolers have a super dynamic and enriching program led by a strong staff of people who care for their participants. Top if off with programs for the entire city such as Healthy Kids Day and the Halloween bash, the Y is the place to be!

  We have had our little one go here since she was still a baby. She has learned so much and has grown into a bright young girl with an enthusiasm for learning. Rose and her teachers are the main reason for her success and I hope they continue to develop so many young minds.

  As a first time parents, we were hesitant on deciding on which daycare to send our son. All of our worries and concerns went away the moment we toured Rosebud’s and signed him up. Our son has been there for 4 months and he loves it! Everyone, including the teachers, director, and owners are extremely kind, compassionate, and professional. Daycare is an investment and with Rosebud’s, you get a great deal. They have a schedule and activities for the kids from open to close and they tailor to your child’s individual needs to help foster growth, learning, and independence. Not to mention they are a part of the Keystone Stars program. Any parent knows their child’s level of comfort and I can honestly say my son loves it there and we love Rosebud’s and the teachers.
